Following Therapists Advice, Misguided New Jersey Woman Attempts To “Seek Validation” By Harassing Parking Attendant
TRENTON, NJ - Attempting to follow the advice of her therapist, 24-year-old Jenny Scarpetto had to be restrained by local authorities on Tuesday for harassing the Independence Plaza Mall parking attendant in an effort to ‘seek validation from those around her’.
“How is this piece of paper supposed to make me feel better? I don’t feel any more confident than I did 10 minutes ago!” Scarpetto pleaded as she banged against the window of the parking attendant booth. “Dr. Janis was right - you’re just like my mother, always withholding.”
According to the Pakistani parking attendant, Jasmeet Singh, this isn’t the first time he’s dealt with this kind of ordeal. “I don’t know what these white people want from me! I’m not your mommy. I’m not your daddy. I give you ticket, you leave for free. That’s it, man.”
After the authorities calmed Ms. Scarpetto down, she reportedly still failed to grasp the real meaning of her therapist's advice, as evident by the fact that she refused to return the parking validation slip, claiming that it was a symbol of her success in life.
At press time, Jenny was heard explaining to a barista how her double soy latte with extra foam reminded her of a her favorite childhood memories with her recently-passed father at the local county fair and how it inspired her to study nursing and eventually get a dog named Rascal, which was a nickname given to her by her best friend after watching Little Rascals at summer camp, and how she thinks its the reason her first boyfriend left her, giving her the fear of abandonment she still struggles with today.
