Gay Men Rejoice As Hero Joey Chestnut Returns to Hot Dog Eating Competition

CONEY ISLAND, NY – Gay men across America rejoiced on Friday after their longtime, wiener-scarfing hero, Joey Chestnut, returned to the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Competition after a brief hiatus.

“Yaaaaay, go Joey! Gobble those dogs,” a flamboyant man in a brown and yellow feather boa was heard screaming as Chestnut stuffed down his 15th hot dog.

For the first time ever, gay bars in New York City experienced an NFL-Sunday-like surge of daytime patrons as members of the LGBTQ+ community from all five boroughs crammed in to revel in the glory of a man who has inspired their sexual fantasies for years.

Chestnut, a professional competitive eater for nearly two decades, first gained notoriety in the gay community during his debut performance when he won the San Jose State University deep-fried asparagus eating competition in 2005.

Since then, he’s garnered a cult-like following in the LGBTQ+ community, as his athletic feats have fueled fantasies about the level of ferociousness and desire that gay men expect from their sexual partners.

At press time, a new trend called “Chestnutting” was gaining traction on PornHub.
