Next Season Of Hard Knocks To Get Closer To Players Than Ever Before

With the latest edition of Hard Knocks featuring teams of the AFC North coming to an end, HBO announced that its next season will be the most in-depth edition ever by filming players in the most intimate moments of their lives.

In a leaked trailer, fans will get to watch their favorite players of the back-to-back Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs processing the NFL season in the bathroom, preparing to go to sleep, and even fighting with their family members.

“It’s so important to know what these guys do on and off the field,” 39-year-old football superfan Bobby Flannigan told The Gas Lamp. “I was this close to making it to the pros, and it's refreshing to know that I snore the same way Patrick Mahomes does and that I get explosive diarrhea before my big meetings just like Travis Kelce. Really makes me feel like I’m one of them.”

While the players are reportedly outraged over the lack of privacy, HBO executives see no issue with the matter.

“Players were instructed that they had to wear their microphones at all times - no matter what. It’s true, some of them were concerned that we were delving too much into their lives. But we simply explained that those moments of intimacy were key to building the kind of deep, gritty character that HBO is known for. If you don’t want us to film you peeing or having sex, maybe you shouldn’t have become a football player,” Vice President Kevin Fleetwood said.

At press time, a spokesperson from HBO revealed that next season’s finale would just be a 45-minute detailed colonoscopy of Head Coach Andy Reid.
