Jack Nicholson Wanders Onto Lakers Court Dripping Wet In Loosely Wrapped Pool Towel

LOS ANGELES, CA - Fans were shocked and disappointed when the Lakers lost a third straight game to the Denver Nuggets on Thursday, putting them dangerously close to being eliminated from the first round of the NBA playoffs.

But perhaps the most disturbing part of the evening was when a dazed and disheveled Jack Nicholson wandered onto the court dripping wet, half-naked, and draped in a loose pool towel.

“There are children here!” angry parents screamed at the movie star. “Put some pants on, for God’s sake!” others shouted. Despite the pleas, Jack was too confused to notice the disruption he was causing and the Lakers staff refused to remove him from the game.

“We try to create a family friendly environment at every game,” said Lakers General Manager Rob Pelinka. “But Mr. Nicholson is as much a part of the legacy of this organization as purple and gold. Unfortunately, there was nothing we could do to force him to leave. If Mr. Nicholson wants so much as wants to shoot a game-winning free throw, we’ll consider it.”

At press time, a source close to the team reported that the Lakers plan to honor the movie star by warming up for the next game in swimsuits and flip-flops.
