DeSantis Claims New Hairdo And Spray Tan Has Nothing To Do With Recent Meeting With Trump

MIAMI, FL - After a closed door meeting with President Trump on Sunday, Governor Ron DeSantis stunned staffers when he showed up to work the following day sporting a bleached blonde pompadour and cheap spray tan.

While many speculate that the new look is a signal of being offered a spot on Donald Trump’s presidential ticket, the Florida Governor assured everyone that wasn’t the case.

“Let me be clear, my new hairdo and tan has nothing to do with my recent meeting with President Trump,” Governor DeSantis clarified. “The decision was mine and mine alone. And before you ask, no, my beautiful and infallible wife Casey did not pressure me into doing this like she pressured me into running for president. I just felt like it was time to change things up. And a huge shout-out to the hard-working, legal Cuban-American immigrants at La Barberia del Barrio who kept their doors open until 1 o’clock in the morning to accommodate me.”

Despite the claim, Republican voters have noticed a sizable shift in President Trump’s demeanor towards DeSantis since the style change as he’s started to use nicknames like Rad DeSantis, Ronny the Remarkable, and even Ron DeGreatest at rallies - a far change in tune from previous nicknames like Ron DeSanctimonious and Meatball Ron

At press time, Ron was caught practicing pursing his lips and imitating Trump’s hand gestures in the mirror of a Tallahassee McDonald’s bathroom.
